If you are licensing a new vehicle you must first submit the relevant application form along with the relevant documentation before a test can be booked. Please click here for more information on new vehicles.

Cancel or Reschedule an Appointment

To cancel or reschedule an appointment that has already been booked please contact the Licensing Team as soon as possible on 01744 676770. All appointments must be cancelled or changed a minimum of 7 days in advance, not including weekends and bank holidays. Failure to do so could incur additional costs.

Failed Tests

If your vehicle fails a test then a retest will be required within 10 working days of the initial test, otherwise another full test will then be required. In cases where a vehicle is submitted for testing with serious defects, the licence may be suspended with immediate effect until such a time as the defects are corrected. This will incur a full test.
